A national referendum was held to decide Australia’s National Anthem. Australians chose between ‘God Save The Queen’, ‘Advance Australia Fair’, ‘Song of Australia’ and ‘Waltzing Matilda’. ‘Advance Australia Fair’ received the most votes and replaced the previous national anthem, ‘God Save The Queen’.
