Women are on the move

The organised Adelaide Women’s Liberation Movement began at the University of Adelaide in 1968, inspired by women who were active in Young Labor, and the anti-Vietnam war campaign. This was a time when women questioned their role in society and vented their frustration about male dominated groups and communities.
